Every Morning God Gives Us a Blank Page. How Will You Fill It?

Every morning we wake up, God gives us something precious: a blank page. It is a new opportunity, a fresh start, and another chance to live with intention. Yesterday’s mistakes do not have to define today. Last week’s disappointments do not have to control this morning. With every sunrise, God offers grace and the opportunity to begin again.

The question becomes: How will you fill the page?

Will it be filled with worry, fear, and distraction?
Or will it be filled with purpose, gratitude, and faith?

Many people start the day by immediately picking up stress. Before their feet hit the floor, their minds are already racing with problems, responsibilities, and what-ifs. But what if we chose differently? What if we started the day with God first?

When we begin the morning in prayer, we invite peace onto the page.
When we begin in gratitude, we invite joy onto the page.
When we begin in God’s Word, we invite wisdom onto the page.
When we begin in faith, we invite courage onto the page.

Every page will contain challenges. Life does not stop being life because we prayed. But when God is at the center of the page, we handle challenges differently. We respond with patience instead of panic. We choose wisdom over impulse. We walk in peace instead of pressure.

A blank page is also a reminder that we have choices. We can choose forgiveness instead of bitterness. We can choose discipline instead of delay. We can choose kindness instead of pride. We can choose growth instead of excuses.

No one writes a perfect page every day, and that is where grace comes in. God does not ask for perfection—He asks for surrender. Even if yesterday’s page was messy, today’s page is still blank.

So before the noise of the world fills your mind, pause and ask:

Lord, how do You want me to live today?
Who can I encourage today?
What needs to change in me today?
How can I bring You glory today?

Every morning is a gift. Every morning is mercy. Every morning is a blank page.
