My name is Ariel Cascallares. I’m 45 years old, husband to Blanca, and father to 4 daughters, a cat, and a dog. I’m a Project Management Professional with over 18 years of experience in people management.
I’m a team player and a firm believer that when a team can have fun, it’s easier to foster a culture of collaboration, openness, and assertiveness, which would lead to developing a high-performing team.
In 2009 I started testing Tabletop Role-Playing Games (TTRPGs) as a means to break the ice between old and new team members.
I realized that the environment created by the sum of: a) a fantastic and attractive scenario; b) an immersive story; c) preset characters that would be the player’s alter egos, and d) a problem to solve that would require their joint efforts to succeed, made possible that complete strangers could be playing together as if they were old friends in a matter of minutes.
After doing this for several years, I’m now extending my service to companies of all sizes that want or need to help their teams work together more openly and maturely, without micromanagement or constant follow-up, especially in this new era of remote working when they might never get to meet their teammates in person.
TTRPGs are a powerful tool to help teams achieve unity, meaningful communication, and comradery among their members.
